Pinnacle Research Award in Liver Diseases

Who Can Apply: Junior Faculty

Type: Basic Science Research

Disease Focus: All Areas

Term / Funding Amount: 3 Years, $300,000 ($100,000 per year)

Application Deadline:  December 4, 2023

Clinical, Translational and Outcomes Research Award in Liver Diseases

Who Can Apply: Junior Faculty

Type: Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes

Disease Focus: All Areas

Term / Funding Amount: 2 Years, $200,000 ($100,000 per year)

Application Deadline: December 4, 2023

Bridge Award in Liver Diseases 

Who Can Apply: Faculty with an appointment at or below the Associate Professor Level

Type: Basic, Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research

Disease Focus: All Areas

Term / Funding Amount: 1 Year, $100,000

Application Deadlines: October 5, 2023 and January 15, 2024

Pilot Research Award in Liver Diseases 
 

Who Can Apply: Faculty 3 years post appointment to at or below the Associate Professor Level

Type: Basic, Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research

Disease Focus: All Areas

Term / Funding Amount: 1 Year, $50,000

Application Deadline: December 4, 2023

Frank J. Tusa Pilot Award for Research in Hepatic Encephalopathy  

Who Can Apply: Early-Stage Investigators (ESI) to at or below the Mid-Career Faculty/Associate Professor Level

Type: Basic, Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research

Disease Focus: Hepatic Encephalopathy (HE)

Term / Funding Amount: 1 Year, $50,000

Application Deadline: December 4, 2023

Gupta Family Pilot Award in PSC Research   

Who Can Apply: Postdoctoral level to Faculty at or below the rank of Associate Professor

Type: Basic, Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research

Disease Focus: Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)

Term / Funding Amount: 1 Year, $50,000

Application Deadline: December 4, 2023

2024 Program Updates: Proposals must be focused on etiology and/or pathogenesis of PSC

Autoimmune Liver Diseases Exploratory Research Award 

Who Can Apply: Graduate Students to Junior Faculty

Type: Basic, Clinical, Translational, and Outcomes Research

Disease Focus: Autoimmune Liver Diseases (e.g., Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH), Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC))

Term / Funding Amount: 1 Year, $20,000
